To plan Umrah, choose your dates, check the current visa and health rules on official Saudi sources, compare what each package includes, and get the full price and protection details in writing before you pay.

Step 1: Choose when to go

Umrah can be done most of the year. Ramadan, school holidays and the days around Eid are the busiest and most expensive. Quieter periods usually mean lower prices and smaller crowds. Decide how many nights you want in Makkah and in Madinah.

Step 2: Check the visa and health rules

Entry rules for pilgrims change. Check the current requirements for your nationality on official Saudi Arabian government sources, and the travel advice of your own government, before you book. Ask us or any agent which documents are needed, but always confirm on the official source.

Step 3: Decide your flight

You can fly direct from some airports or connect elsewhere. Compare the total price and the baggage allowance, because many pilgrims carry extra items such as Zamzam water. Check how you will return, since your return flight date affects your hotel nights.

Step 4: Choose hotels by distance, not only by stars

Distance to the Haram matters more than the star rating for many people, especially elderly travellers or families with children. Ask for the walking time in minutes and whether the route is flat. Check if breakfast is included and how far the lifts and prayer areas are.

Step 5: Compare what a package includes

  • Flights, and the baggage allowance
  • Hotels in Makkah and Madinah, with nights and meals
  • Visa handling and who is responsible for it
  • Transfers between the airport, cities and hotels
  • Ziyarat tours and guide support, if offered
  • Any extras you must pay for on arrival

Step 6: Ask these questions before you pay

  • What is the total price in your currency, and what is not included?
  • What financial protection applies if the trip is cancelled or the company fails? Ask for it in writing.
  • What happens if my flight or hotel changes?
  • Who do I contact in Saudi Arabia if something goes wrong?

Never pay into a personal bank account for a travel booking. See how to pay safely.

Step 7: Get help planning

If you would like options and a written price, see our Umrah packages or message us on WhatsApp with your dates and the number of travellers.
